This is a top floor Penthouse apartment, it is accessed via stairs, there is no lift in this part and so, if you struggle with stairs, it's probably not the place for you....if you don't struggle, then keep on reading as this is a gorgeous apartment..

It's beautifully finished off inside, almost like a show home, it's been well maintained. If this is your first home, you've just parted with Mum and Dad or even just come out of a toxic relationship, you hate gardening and love socialising, then this is a great home for you. Mold Town centre is a stone's throw away (please don't try this) with it's many pubs, restaurants, shops, gym, hairdressers etc...and the apartment offers space, comfort and a place to carry on the party once Mold is closed.

Just about a minutes' walk up from Mold high Street and you stumble across The Carriageworks, a purpose built block of apartments. There's a large electric wrought iron gate that allows you car entry and also a separate pedestrian one to walk through. At the rear of the building is a carpark where you have an allocated parking space with extra spaces for your guests.

To get to this apartment we walk up two flights of stairs to the top floor. It's all beautifully looked after, and then there's another fire door which reveals the entrance to No.21

Opening the solid wooden door to which we gain access into the bright entrance hallway. There's a handy storage cupboard to the right of us as we walk in and then a doorway which leads to the second bedroom.

This is a generous sized bedroom which is currently being used as a dressing room. It has impressive built in wardrobes on both sides of the walls and without sounding sexist, you can tell that a woman lives here....and a very happy one too! Remove the wardrobes or one, and you have a good sized second bedroom. A window keeps it nice and bright and another large storage cupboard sits at the far end of the room.

Back along the hallway and the door almost opposite the second bedroom is another store cupboard, although this one we can call a very useful utility cupboard. In here you'll find plumbing for a washing machine.

Next in line is the bathroom. Here you get the best of both worlds, as there is a panelled bath, pedestal wash hand basin, the obligatory toilet all in a contemporary style. There is also a large double shower cubicle with rainforest head and separate hand held shower attachment which has been fully tiled from floor to ceiling. The rest of the room has part tiled walls and the floor is fully tiled. A chrome heated towel rail hangs off the wall which is a nice touch on a cold winters day when exiting a warm shower or bath.

Opposite the bathroom is the main bedroom. Currently with only a single bed in here, which looks dwarfed, it could easily accommodate a large double as the fitted bedside cabinets would add confirmation . Again, this is a nice bright room with a lot of useful fitted cupboards above the bed and opposite the bed, with accompanying draws, cupboard and shelves. A window looks out over the street and provides ample light to flood in.

The last room we come to is the hub of this home.

The kitchen, dining room and lounge all rolled into one very large space. It's perfectly laid out as you can clearly see from the photos.

I'll start at the kitchen end first, which as you walk in to the room is on your left hand side. Fitted with modern, stylish floor and wall mounted storage units, with down lights, which all finished in a neutral light colour with contrasting black worksurfaces. These align three walls and provide ample space for food prep and places for your 21st century gadgets we've all become so used to today. A tiled floor separates the kitchen area from the dining area.

This area is carpeted and is large enough to sit a four seat table and chairs, provided you utilise the area with the correct furniture to fit into a room like this. It's cosy, but then if you needed a bigger place to entertain loads of people, perhaps this isn't the place you should be looking at. This apartment is designed for the more intimate person, who wants to just share either one on one time with someone special or just a handful of close pals.

The end of the room is the largest area, where you can fit a large sofa and some armchairs or other freestanding furniture. If I owned it, I'd attach the telly to the wall with a bracket to create even more useful space. The sofa can be pressed up against the dining table and when you're all ready for dinner, push the sofa down and spread the table out, there's ample space in here for this. A large window offer far reaching views over Mold, where people watching can become a great hobby.

A car space comes with this superb apartment and also guest parking is allowed. I'm sure if you had more than one car, talk to a neighbour who doesn't and find some nice arrangement with them.

All in all this is the perfect home for a young professional couple or even someone just coming out of a messy divorce or an older member of society who wants to stay central to town to be near shops, restaurants and pubs - which there are plenty of in Mold. You can walk to all of the supermarkets dotted around, a KFC is a few minutes walk away (as are many other brands of takeaway), schools close and the A55 just a 10 min drive away that will whisk you off to anywhere you need to go....the inside of this apartment is perfect, the kitchen is stylish, the bathroom caters for your every need, a large open-plan living area means you'll always be able to mingle with your guests...and you have large windows from your vantage spot so you can people watch until your hearts content, it has two double bedrooms and allocated parking.....what more could you want??
